 Pediatric Council
For more than eight years, the PA Chapter has engaged Pennsylvania health insurance companies in a Pediatric Council. This forum is comprised of the PA AAP Board members and the medical directors of each of the PA insurers.
Discussions focus on pediatric issues of mutual concern such as:

The PA AAP Practice Management Committee, chaired by Susan Kressly, MD, FAAP, selects the agenda based on practice feedback. If you have issues that you would like to see on the agenda, please email the Chapter office at paaap@paaap.org.
Important Note:
The PA Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics appreciates the attendance of the various health plan medical directors and representatives at Pediatric Council meetings. The Academy understands that information regarding fees, claim payment policies, UM policies etc. of the various health plans cannot be discussed in this forum. That said, the PA Chapter AAP appreciates the opportunity to share with the health plans the perspective of practicing physicians regarding areas of concern.
